OUR CHAPTER MEETINGS
Youth organizing is about young people coming together to build power, create change, and lead in their schools and communities.
It means learning how to speak up about the issues that impact us, working as a team to make our voices heard, and taking action so that decision-makers listen. Through youth organizing, we don’t just talk about change we practice leadership, build community, and shape a future that reflects our needs and dreams.

Who, how, and where we organize
We organize with young people ages 14–26. High school students are at the heart of our work, meeting weekly through our Hartford Chapter. College-age students and young adults get activated at our bi-monthly statewide meetings, which rotate across different locations in Connecticut. Our campaigns are statewide, and our long-term goal is to build chapters in schools and communities all across the state.
Youth Organizing
"Youth don’t have any hidden agendas. We’re not organizing or speaking out for money … we do it because our lives depend on it.”
Jamie Margolin
