Anghy Idrovo
Organizing & Policy Director
Anghy Idrovo is a powerhouse organizer fighting for immigrant justice and educational equity. By age 23, she co-directed CT Students for a Dream, winning $150M for undocumented students' aid and healthcare for immigrant families. She now leads CT BBSU's battle against the school-to-prison pipeline, centering Black/Brown youth voices in policy change. She is a national leader who co-founded the TPS for Ecuador National Coalition during Ecuador's crisis. With a psychology background and expertise in racial/gender justice, Anghy works to dismantle oppressive systems while building liberatory alternatives. Her work proves youth leadership can transform policies - from Connecticut classrooms to international protections for undocumented communities.
